lost it

I've totally lost it !!
Lost my passion in updating my blog with once-upon-a-time filled with way too many crazy activities!

I've been sitting here,
drafting one draft after the other; trying to update you with what's happening around me lately,
but I find myself deleting draft after draft!

Oh well, it's probably cos I'm not really in the mood?!

Okay now ...
a slight update on the chambering life?

Well, it's ermm to an extend INTERESTING ..
and on the other hand, annoying?
I guess there's always two sides to a coin, eh?
We cannot get the best of both worlds now can we?

There's a lot to learn about the legal industry,
and I will never be able to learn everything.
So it's a learning along the way system,
and every mistake is a stepping stone!

A girl just got to do what she got to do to chase that childhood ambition of hers!
I may seem weak from the outside,
but from the inside, God knows what I'm capable of,
for He is thy creator!

one step closer

Every law grad who desires to be a practicioning lawyer in Malaysia,
either has to sit for his/her BAR examinations in the UK (pricey, abosultely pricey),
or go for the very much cheaper but harder to pass CLP back here in Malaysia !

CLP,
stands for Certificate in Legal Practice,
a close friend of mine the past two years !~

It was a tough journey I would say .
Having failed my first attempt last year,
I was discouraged & reluctant to continue further.

But owing to never ending support & encouragement from loved ones,
I gave CLP a second shot

did just enough to pass !!!

Now I'm 9 months away from my childhood ambition !

Psst,
and so I've heard the next 9 months (of chambering) are gonna be months being bullied & tortured by my master & senior lawyers of the firm !
*gulps*

Last night after shopping for my white shirts,
for the record I hate wearing white clothes ..
but don't have much of a choice as having passed CLP coupled with the need to attend court proceedings in the near future,
black & white is the attire to die for !
Hunting for presentable white shirts can be pretty tough.
I'm still not over spending RM169 on 2 WHITE shirts in G2000!!!~

now back to what I initially wanted to share . .
the bf downloaded yet another chiq flick for me.
as always,
he accompanied me HALFWAY through the movie before dozing off to dreamland.

and the colleague showed up in a Black pair of Jelly shoes ~
First thought that crossed my mind, "I'm SO gonna ask her where she got those!"

So I finally approached her and she replied,
"From Singapore !~"

"It must have been expensive then?", I asked.
"Surprisingly no! Only SGD $15.00," she answered.

Adopting the kiasu-ism spirit,
I thought to myself, they sure sell it online !!!

but it's going for SGD $26.95 ???

Over the raya weekend,
I played Mike's (the bf's Australian friend) shopping mall guide !
he definitely consulted the right person, eh ?
my infamous area of expertise !

We headed to Pavillion,
and after Mike did his designer shopping & the guys headed for happy hour at Fridays,
the shopaholic did her shopping .
unfortunately not on designers !
boohoo ~

The two shops the shopaholic usually or rather ONLY visits in Pavilion are;

2. Forever 21

Now to add to my MUST visit store in Pavilion;

the fried rice (our neighboring table had) was huge !
